The club provides sporting opportunities, networking and social opportunities for physically disabled children, with wheelchair basketball at the core of our activities. We attract children and families from across the region including Portsmouth, Gosport, Ferndown, Bracknell, Southampton and Winchester. The club takes its responsibilities very seriously and is a fully constituted club, run and guided by an active committee of volunteers. Nass is a lifelong sportsman, he draws from his rugby coaching experience, and is also one of the founders of the club. Each session includes wheelchair skills, ball control training, shooting and a full court game. These sessions are managed through a combination of large group activities and smaller ‘breakout’ groups. We welcome and encourage all children to participate in our sessions, however, to get the most out of each session, ideally children should be able to self-propel and communicate independently.
